English Final version 2.0

Q#8 How do you like having a blog? How has blogging changed the way you write, the way you think, or the way you think about writing?

When we were introduced to making a blog, i thought, OK this could be interesting. So how do i like having a blog? I really enjoy it. I'm not crazed and blog twenty-four seven, but i like putting my opinion there for people to listen to. It was a good idea for not just me, but I'm pretty sure most of the people in fourth period to relieve some creative thoughts as opposed to bottling it up,Who knows? We might have our next revolutionary thinker sitting right next to us. I got so into blogging because I couldn't wait to post it, I just thought that they were such good topics to blog about. My post, fat man inside , I really felt strong to this topic. The next day when walking through the hallways, people had told me that they liked it.

Now when its a Wednesday afternoon, I don't think, oh great another assignment, I think, sweet another chance for me to voice what I think is going on in the world or whats just even whats going on in my own town. Even though Ive been blogging for a short amount of time, when I think of a new topic I try to think of something that will cause others to blog about it, too. Topics that people strongly believe in, such as the the war that's currently going on , or even some celebrity news are great topics to blog about. Even though I don't have much to say to these kind of topics, other people might have a detailed conversation in their head, just ready to explode with facts and gossip.

Q#2 Choose one of your posts. (Your favorite? Your least favorite? The one that surprises you the most when you reread it? Any one you want to pick.) Analyze it in detail, with quotes etc.

Out of all my blogs so far, my favorite has probably been THE POWER OF DREAMS. I particularly like this one because, dreams to me can show more to us then we realize. I see the future, even if its nothing all that special, if its just me and my friends sitting down and talking. In a dream you have control of everything, Ive had some of the most unreal dreams where I've flown over buildings and have swam in a pool of sharks. To me dreams are more than a fabrication based on our daily activities, its more like our own personalized inner world. in each dream there is a message that has to be deciphered, if its a bad dream then generally the day before, you either did something that you knew you weren't supposed to or did something being unaware of what you did. As you can see i can keep going on with this topics for hours and hours. That's why this is my favorite post, something to talk on and on about. My least favorite post this semester would probably be o well. Its just more like a filler blog. Kind of like water or bread, its just there in your stomach, taking up space so that you get more full easier. All I did was talk about was currently happening in my world, which isn't all that great. Hopefully next year I'll refrain from doing that. The blog the most surprises me is The Illusion of night. i like this blog, but there's a quote "There's some thing that makes love just a little more romantic as opposed to day. No one knows why, it just does. And when I look up to the sky and look to the moon and stars, it feels like there's something bigger than us, more than what we as a planet know about space, something out there". When i re-read this quote i think, Oh god did i really put this in my blog? It gives me goose bumps, because i felt like a dork posting up that cheesy line.

Q#10 Where do you get your ideas for blog post topics? What inspires you to write?

Ideas don't just hit you like a bolt of lightning, at least they rarely will. But for the most part, people will look at blogs, form a question from that and then blog about that question and their views on it. Others will write their ideas down and choose one of them to write about. As for my method, I just think and try to retain them for me it tells me what ideas are good, if they stay my head then it means to me they're good ideas, if i don't retain my idea, then its not an idea worth holding onto.
I try to think of them when I get a chance to, such as when I'm at swim practice. Even though I'm surrounded by ten to fifteen people, when your swimming you have no contact with them. When I'm swimming it feels like a chilled bottomless abyss, the perfect place not to lose focus on ideas. Some of the ideas for my blogs such as "Goggles and chlorine" and "Morning meal", came to my head at practice.Goggles and chlorine, I thought while swimming because I had been swimming and thought about how much easier practice had been and thought about how i used to swim back when i was younger as opposed to how I swim now. Morning meal came to me because I had forgotten to bring something to eat for morning practice, so while I was in the pool I had thought what to do, and asked myself what do I usually eat in the morning.
Music is another big idea starter. If your listening to a song, it does not matter what emotion is triggered. I link an emotion to an issue then that to a topic and that becomes my blog. For me the artist i listen to are generally cake, the barenaked ladies, rise against, and then a whole bunch of Japanese music. My post " 10 fingered ghost " which I named for no reason, had come to me when I had been listening to music right before a game and it just hit me, what do the upperclassman of our team listen to? I thought of our biggest and toughest guy on our team listening to some girlie stuff, just to tickle my amusement.
